SUBMERSIBLE MIXER - Submersible Mixer HYDRIG

Submersible Mixer of HG Series is key equipment used in water treatment technology. It meets the technological requirements for homogeneity and fluidity of solid-liquid two-phase flow and solid-liquid-gas three phase flow in biochemical course of the water treatment process. It is composed of the submersible motor, impeller, and installation system. Compared with the traditional high-power electric motor that reduces speed by a speed reducer, it is characterised by compact structure, low energy consumption, and ease of maintenance.

This series of products is suitable for places that require solid-liquid agitation or mixing. Below is a schematic drawing of the structure.

HG type submersible mixer is an energy saving product, supported by a conventional four-motor and a high-efficiency reducer. Compared to a multi-motor, it can significantly reduce the power of burden, which reduces energy consumption by 15%.

Application:

Submersible mixers are mainly used for mixing, agitating and making ring flows in the process of municipal and industrial sewage treatment. They can also be used for equipment maintenance of landscape water circulation through agitation. They can create water flow, improve water quality, increase oxygen concentration in the water and effectively prevent sedimentation of suspended substances.

Conditions of Application:

  • The highest temperature of the medium should not exceed 40°C;

  • The scope of pH value of the medium should be 5~9;

  • The density of the medium should not exceed 1150 kg/m3;

  • The depth of submersion should not exceed 20m.

WARNING: The submersible mixer must be completely submerged in water and cannot operate in inflammable, explosive, highly corrosive and high-temperature environment. Our company can provide speical design for our customers based on special environment requirements.

Notes:

1. In mixing & agitating series of the above table, the value listed in the column Weight contains the weight of the dome.

2. Winding insulation class of the motor is Class F. Protective grade is IP68. The motor can operate 24 hours.

3. We can supply the motor with class H winding insulation.

The effectiveness of the system directly depends on whether the mixer was chosen correctly or not. Firstly, technical characteristics of the mixer should match the indicated volume of liquid. The choice of the mixer is determined by the speed of the flow which can vary from 0.15 to 0.3 m/sec. Lower speed cannot guarantee high quality of mixing. Therefore, before type selection, it is necessary to determine what kind of environment the mixer will be used in, such as a sewage tank, slag pond or biochemical pond. Secondly, it is important to consider the parameters of the medium, such as content of the suspended substances, temperature, pH value as well as the shape of the pond, water depth and even the mode of installation. Meanwhile, it is also necessary to consider the energy-saving factor, because this will influence the operating costs in the future.
